If I could give any advice...
Enjoy the moments when your children are small. They cry and fuss. They get older and then you are running around taking them here and there. Baseball practices, dance class, school activities, etc.... start taking up your calendar that there is no other time left for you. Don't worry. The time will get here faster than you can blink and there will be nothing but you time. Hug your children every day. Tell them you love them. Make them feel secure so they can grow up feeling secure and confident. Teach them things. Teach them everything you know. Make them do chores. This will benefit them when they get older (and their future spouse will thank you for it.) Talk to them. Listen to them. Hear their perspective. Then share yours. Praise them, but don't forget to encourage them and keep them humble. If you and your spouse speak two languages, by all means carry these languages with your child. They will thank you for it later.
Above all, love them. They are impressionable little humans. They will soak in all you give them.
