I am not sure if I am becoming numb to the horrible things that have been happening or maybe I just don't want to know about it anymore. It's sad. Just plain sad. The last big news I had received a news alert for was the elementary school shooting. Then we've had a couple of possible armed shooters at the local community colleges around here. One turned out to be a person who decided to stab multiple random people at the campus.
I normally would have the news going, tv on... watching every bit of what was being reported. Yesterday...I didn't even turn my tv on. I only prayed.
Prayed
for the people who were caught off guard
for the ones who were killed
for those who were injured
for the families worried at home wondering if their loved ones were okay
for the children that were there
for the first responders
"They run in when we run out...remember that. God bless our police officers and firemen...all first responders..."
May God grant us peace...
